Custom cover art or a premade cover?

Custom is for a release with a picture already in your head: the artwork follows your idea, and nobody else can buy it. A premade cover is faster and cheaper — the artwork already exists and only the type is added. Both are sold once and retired.

Frequently asked questions

How is custom album cover art different from a premade cover?

A premade cover already exists: you pick it from the catalogue and we add your artist name and release title. Custom album cover art is drawn from scratch for your release — the composition, the palette and the type are chosen for your track.

How long does a custom cover take?

Up to three business days from the order, including one round of revisions. The first draft usually comes sooner.

What do you need from me to start?

Your artist name, the release title and a reference — a track, a moodboard or an artist whose look you like. Anything else you tell us only helps.

Can I ask for changes?

Yes, one round of revisions on text and layout is included. Bigger changes — a new concept, a different subject — are quoted separately.

Can I use the cover on Spotify and Apple Music?

Yes. The file is a 3000×3000 px JPEG in RGB, which is what every streaming platform asks for, and the commercial rights come with it.

Does anyone else get the same artwork?

No. Custom album cover art is made for one client and is never resold — the piece stays yours.
