How to resize an image without losing quality
Choose a file or drop it into the box on the left. Type the width or height in pixels, or hit a preset: 3000×3000 for release cover art, 1400×1400 — the streaming minimum, 1080×1080 — for snippets and posts. The tool shows the original and new size; then click “Download image”.

Nowhere. The image is processed right in your browser with the Canvas API: nothing is uploaded to a server, and nothing remains once you close the page.
The tool always keeps the aspect ratio: change one side and the other is recalculated. That way the image never gets stretched or squashed. If you need an exact square, the source has to be square too — crop it first.
Streaming services accept square artwork from 1400×1400 to 3000×3000 px; we recommend 3000×3000. Playlist covers and snippets are fine at 1080×1080. All three sizes are in the presets.
When downscaling, the image goes through stepped smoothing at the highest quality, so fine detail doesn’t turn to mush. JPG and WebP are saved at 95% quality, PNG is lossless. Enlarging beyond the original adds no new detail: there are no extra pixels to draw.
